thanks for the "well wishes" ... I made it in a little after midnight last night after losing my keys for about 2 hours while on the road. had to get out and stretch the legs/wake up/water the proverbial "dog" and somehow misplaced my keys. checked everywhere even looking into the car, which was locked and finally found them right where I had been looking all along. Just goes to show my heads not int he game at the moment.

got some running around to do for him this morning before I go to the hospital to get my first look at him

Back home, thanks for all the warm thoughts. Doctors are just dumbfounded on how he survived. Came in the ER with 2 collapsed lungs, cuts and scrapes a couple pretty severe on his head and face, aspirated at least 1 tooth of the 2 he lost into his lungs and took 5 or more "fishing" expeditions to get it out. On a total liquid tube fed diet until yesterday and still on a breather at night. Doc says maybe another week and he can think about going home.
