These guys do a great job every year with this tourney so I encourage you to participate if you can. GREAT CAUSE .... GREAT PEOPLE .... PERFECT COMBINATION

It's that time of year folks! It will be on the 11th of February, 8 AM to start your late signups.
However, since last year was such a madhouse at 8 AM, this time, if you want to choose your card-mates, we're requiring early registration here;
PRE-REGISTRATION
You can also pay early through the use of PayPal or what have you, but be forewarned, it's going to cost a little more than to pay the day of the tourney. You aren't required to prepay, only to PREREGISTER, if you want to be on a card with your friends.
The cost is $25 and five non-perishable food items (I think it's closer to $28 if you prepay). Your prepay guarantees you play the tournament, and we hope not to have to turn anyone away, so we'll be adding holes if need be.
We will also pay the monetary portion of your entry fee if last year you were a division winner. Either first, second or third. Please contact us before hand at this e-mail address ice.bowl@yahoo.com if you wish to take advantage of this privilege. Of course remove all the brackets, add the @ sign and all that rot.
Once again we'll have chili at lunch for free, and this time I'm making a HUGE pot, and using the pot from last year for the beans part. tongue.gif
We're going to have lots of prizes this year to pay out, since the dollars go to our charities. We'll have some unusual prizes, gift certs to local businesses, fishing rods, plastic, ace pot, raffles and of course ring of fire. We're feeling confident that we're far readier for a crowd this time than last year.
It will be a SNDG qualifier, and our charities are once again Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center and Catholic Charities food pantry.
Mulligans will be sold one for $2.00, three for $5.00, ten for $10.00. Mulligan money is gravy for these great charities. Unfortunately there are growing numbers of working, hungry families in our communities, and Catholic Charities does a good job of providing sacks of groceries to them. ECCAC has greatly increased the successful prosecution of child abusers in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. They are a mostly privately funded entity that assists the Okaloosa and Walton County Sheriff's Offices and the State Attorney's Office in interviewing young victims of physical and sexual abuse. All the while providing to them and their families a safe haven, medical services and counseling. All of this they do for no cost to the victims. However this type of care is not free. Last year we raised enough cash to pay for HALF of the treatment of ONE child.
Let's see if we can up the ante my friends!

Won't be moving up any time soon regardless of the course. When I start making at least 50% of my putts inside 30ft. then sure.. but when i'm missing 10-15 ft putts on a reg basis.. no.

I think he has me confused by that "real" Bagger Capps that played down to am in a tourney a while back and beat the field by 5 throws or something ... I've 1) never won a tournament by more than 1 throw in novice my first season and 2) never "cashed" in an am tournament or "placed" higher than about mid field ... so yeah if that's baggin ... I'm all over it!
