Is the PDCG an actual organization? Does it have any structure; officers, by-laws, etc?

What does it do?

The Playground Disc Golf Club is Fort Walton Beaches first discgolf club. We are a non-profit community organization that welcomes members of all skill levels. We consider Ferry Park to be our home course, and we work closely with the county and city parks department on course improvement and maintenance. The club has been organized to do the following:
Promote disc golf in the N.W. Florida panhandle, especially the greater Fort Walton Beach area.
Encourage and assist with local course development and maintenance.
Sponsor local disc golf events.
Provide fellowship and an information network for all interested disc golfers.
Provide additional benefits to voting members.

We do have officers:
President: Jeff Melgosa

Vice Pres: Lance Graves

Secretary: Adam Drake

Treasurer: Adam Drake

There will be 2011 elections coming up! We should also have a board in place at this time!
Has for our By-Laws, those will be posted on our website soon!

There is going to be members meeting on Sunday Jan. 9th, 6:30pm @ Scullys. If you arent already a memeber, please come out to meet and see what the club is about!

Thanks so much for your interest in the pdgc and look forward to you maybe becoming a member!
