Weekly Food Toss Info

Food Toss tonight (04-14-2011) sign up @ 5:00 ish and tee off @ 5:30 playing from the SHORT TEES!
Bring your 3-canned goods or $3.00 to help out a great cause for people in our community in NEED !!
KEY CHAINS BIKE & DISC will donate prizes to the top 2 winners, and ANYONE can win (even me
) with a handicap and mine is HUGE

I second T.K.'s post!
I alway's knew we were doing a GREAT thing for our community with our food toss, but the other day I was approached by one of our disc golf family and was told that due to certain things happening to them and their families, they found themsevles having to use this GREAT organization to eat! Almost brought ME to tears!
So, the point is "WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE"!! Come out and play for a GREAT cause!!

I am certainly NOT making light of the situation that alot of families are in, only making fun of my sister.
I think what the club is doing for our community is wonderful and the more people that participate, the more families get the help they need.
So ROCK ON PDGC for continuing to show the POSITIVE side of disc golf and helping our community without asking for anything in return!!

We do put our tags up, however you get to pick who you want on your card... it doesn't go by tag #.... After you have played 3-times from the long tees you will then have a handicap

my first food toss tonight?

So I've slacked since I started playing and not ever made it to the food tosses or Sunday games, and jsut hones my skills...........or lack thereof............by myself, lol, i pulled an all nighter tonight but will be at the course starting at 8 am this morning and if i can stay awake, i will attempt my first tourney tonight, and yes i understand that is like 12 hours of disc golf but I am addicted and want my first ace, I hope to see you all there today

Sorry guys but I am pulling the plug on the food drive tonight due to the weather. I played yesterday and the course was hard to get around due to all the puddles and it looks like it's going to rain all day today so we will not be having the food toss tonight. Hope to see everybody next Thursday
