Hello all... I know its early, however I just received confirmation from Brian Sullivan @ Discraft that our ACE RACE date is now on the DISCRAFT ACE RACE SCHEDULE for this year!!

Let's make this one the BIGGEST and BEST YET..... I have lots of surprises in store

I know its early, however I wanted to get the word out because every year peeps are left out in the cold as YOU HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER for this awesome event.... ...there IS NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.
$25.00 gets you the ACE RACE package, FREE LUNCH provided by KEY CHAINS BIKE & DISC , and Ring Of Fires
ACE RACE RULES OF PLAY:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards for round two, using the next line on the card to record the round.
The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.

Optional:
$2 CTP (2) one will be $ the other prize

2012 Proto: A Hybrid Driver!
The 2012 Ace Race prototype disc is officially classified as a long range driver, but it could be more accurately described as a hybrid driver and is superb for running aces! Faster than a Buzzz but slower than a Stalker, the disc offers players controlled fairway shots. At medium to fast speeds this disc will hold the line to finish with a slight hyzer. Give it a rip!

I don't know what the last official day was/is. I'm not sure exactly when the players packs are getting ordered but if they haven't been ordered and knowing TK (the tourney director) she'll get you in. I would call Key Chains first thing in the am after they open and find out.

I'm signed up, but I know a couple of newer players who'd like to attend...but if sign-ups are closed, it's no worries. I told them this event requires pre-registration, but they waffled back and forth on whether or not they would play, so it's no big deal, as they knew they had a limited window to register.

OK......DEADLINE is here! I am ordering players packs today! If you don't want to be standing there Aug. 11th upset because you didn't pre-reg. Call the Store or my cell before 2:00pm TODAY!

OR ... you could make it ANY Ace Race disc only for the doubles ... that gives incentive for folks to keep playing in them year after year

That's all they're sending anyway.
I think last year there was something for 2nd and 3rd but that's only if th eTD does that sorta thing AND it comes out of any tourney fees left over which trust me isn't much on these ace race packages.

Sorry...haven't been on here in a bit. Love the cricket..... 
We are less than a week away from the PDGC 2012 ACE RACE and don't forget, that following the ACE RACE, we are having Random Draw Doubles, after the ACE RACE participants eat lunch provided by KEY CHAINS BIKE & DISC ....
Mr. Kool, if you could bring your basket again that would be great. And any other golfers that would not mind me using their basket, please bring it with you
