Heads up for some of you tournament players that "jump" putt ...
Or may have other styles of putting that can easily be called for infractions. Looks like the 2013 rules will include that a "warning" call can be made WITHOUT a 2nd and that the putt must be retaken. No stroke is assessed on the warning but the putt must be taken again from the original lie. For subsequent faults, strokes are assessed and must have someone second.
There's also the rumor that the PDGA is leaning toward getting rid of the "jump putt" all together as even the best Pros routinely have their foot fractionally off the ground before the disc leaves their hand. I know this has been a discussion for quite sometime but looks like it may be getting some steam behind it.
