Thursday Food Toss

Every Thursday (weather permitting)

Time:
5:30pm registration
6:00 tee-off

Fees:
2 canned food goods (please check expiration date)
OR $5 (of which 3 will go to the Waterfront Mission and 2 will go to the PDGC)

Tees:
We alternate each week throwing from Ams and Pros

Bag Tags:
I will collect all bag tags and mark down everyone who is in the tag round prior to start of the round, standard tag rules apply otherwise. Everyone who is in the tag roundput a capital T in the margin at the left of your score card. (this is optional and you are not forced to put your tag up)

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded typically for 1st and 2nd place
Prizes have been donated from local players and/or stores (in particular and a HUGE thanks to Key Chains Bike and Disc)

Handicap:
I have set up a handicap system to attempt to level the playing field, scoring for the Bag Tags will be done as normal score, however prizes will be decided with the handicap setup.

Hey guys...just a little food for thought! With school starting and with the time change around the corner (October, lol) do you think you will change the food toss back to Saturdays? Just curious. Thanks in advance ~TK~

We'll start looking at our options, I hope we can keep it going, I went in the food closet friday to take the food there and more than half of their shelves were empty... Weekdays are going to be hard to schedule because of school but weekends are going to be tough too with competitions. We'll discuss it more and hopefully find a way/ways to keep this going

Thank you to everyone that came out tonight for the fling for food. As some of you may know I will be filling in for Drake as he has class on Thurs. nights. Tonight was my 1st night filling in for Drake and I hope that I didn't do to bad of a job. Doing the handicap was something new for me,but I think I got the jest of it. I promise things will go smoother next Thurs.
