Post  KEYCHAINSRK Tue Jul 12, 2011 11:39 am

We will be buying new trash cans for the course this week! I will also be out in the afternoons cleaning up. Have notice alot of trash on the course lately.

We are going to try to get some of the teeboxes back filled where the dirt has been washed out from under the ends! This will help with safety and keeping the boxes from cracking! Mr. hunter has offered to help and can bring a load of dirt in his truck. We need to frame just around the front corners so we wont have to do this again!

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Ya know I have seen in a lot of videos on tee pads that the slab was bigger but there was a line like a foot or 2 from the edge. Idk the prices on that of it would even help. Just thought I share what I have seen.

Yes Rob I have seen that also, but it won't keep people from walking off the end of the box and pushing our wonderful beach sand down! We are spoiled @ Ferry with the big tee pads!

Anytime anyone feels like doing something! I think the Hunters are going to be out Saturday! Spoke with Bert & Lance this morning, they said that they would help all that they could! Lance has dirt we can use.

carb came in for my riding mower, I pick it up tomorrow so if I can get it running Friday afternoon I can bring it and the dump/wagon attachment to move dirt around easier. If someone has a flatbed trailer it's be easier to load/unload the mower from that.

I have a trailer, it's huge though. I use it to tow around my Drag car.

was anyone at the park today ... I woke up to rain, rolled over for a little while, woke up again to more rain, texted/called a couple peeps and no replies/answers so assumed no one went out.

If weather holds out tomorrow is anyone going out there? My riding mower's running like a champ now so I have that dump trailer that it pulls around for sand and everything so someone lemme know something.

Yes......thank-you Mr Hunter! With it pouring Saturday morning, I went ahead to work, not thinking anyone would be out there! My mom (Helen) went out also to pick up trash and said Mr Hunter did a GREAT job!

BIG SHOUT OUT to Mr. Hunter and John Capps(Joe Kool) for the work and use of there equipment! The pads look great! Mr. Hunter has cut down the tree that was blocking the side of hole 6. This now allows everyone to stay off the front of the pad to try and help keep the dirt packed in front of it!

Jeff, Tk, Syd, and I started cleaning pathways and around some of the baskets! We will be back out today to try and finish!

Thanks to everyone helping get the course taken care of!

Course Clean-up & Repair Empty 9/05/2011

Post  KEYCHAINSRK Mon Sep 05, 2011 8:58 pm

Went by the course today and it is a mess! Trees, limbs, leaves, and just random crap everywhere! I plan on going down in the morning after I drop Syd off and clean-up a little before the store opens! I dont think we can rely on the city to do inside the course! Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Ronda

Course Clean-up & Repair Empty course Cleanup

Post  phunter Mon Sep 05, 2011 10:27 pm

Gary and I went down today to check out the course. We are planning on going down tomorrow afternoon to try and throw a few holes and will cleanup some. Hopefully the city will take care of the tree down between 2 and the bridge. We were surprised that more trees were not down. The course is very water logged. We did not know if it was high tide or not but the water level was extremely high in the creeks.

I am opening at work the next 3 days, so I get off work at 2pm. I will see what I can do to get down there and help. Guess the biggest part of clean up may be the need of good backs and chain saws! That looks like a big tree on 11 !

@ Rob No the city probaly wont get right on it! If the basket is moved to where it fell from, you would be shooting towards the ladies back yard!

@ Brian.... Cool, Mr. Hunter is coming out this afternoon also with a chainsaw!.

I would like to apologize to Mr. Hunter and Brian for not making it out yesterday to help with the clean up! I was recovering from kidney stones and just couldn't walk around! TK cooked me dinner and I fell asleep. I will be out there this afternoon!

Thanks

Vicki and I are going out when I get off work. I have to be at work until 3pm, unless some sort of miracle allows me to leave earlier! I told Patsy that if they wanted to cut the tree up and leave the logs in the fairway, then I could move them. I will bring my hand truck, a garbage can and couple rakes. I plan on doing some raking to get the little spiky things off the ground! As far as the rest of the course, is there anything else needed? I didn't notice.

Also, RK don't worry about yesterday. I know you were under the weather. It was ALL Gary and Patsy. I just went to inspect 11 ! I do hope you are feeling better.
